The tape
Every entry and every result stays on a scrolling tape. Tap a line to reuse it. Swipe a bad one off and the total recomputes on the spot. The tape survives closing the app, and clearing it always asks first. Share the whole thing as text when the numbers need to travel.
What's in it
The math
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide feet-inch-fraction lengths
- Fraction-native keypad in tape-measure 16ths, one-tap fraction chips
- Fraction and decimal shown together, rounded to 1/16, 1/32 or 1/64
- Big Keys mode for gloves, vaults and bad light
Functions
- Offsets: set and roll to true offset, travel and run, any fitting angle
- Grade & slope: plumbing pitches or any percent
- Conversions: fractions, decimals, feet, millimeters, meters
- Right angle: rise and run to diagonal and angle
- Every result lands back on the tape with one tap
Built for the field
Fully offline: no sign-in, no license check, nothing to time out in a basement or on a rig. The math engine is test-covered and the tape replays deterministically. Find a wrong number and email from the app's feedback row; fixes ship in days, not years.
